Feature Friday: Meet Amanda Ciolino of Sensible Sitters

Lerner Concierge gets asked for vendor referrals ALL. THE. TIME. In fact, it may be our number one task-- researching and vetting a company or person to fulfill our client's needs.

With that in mind, we're introducing VENDOR FEATURE FRIDAY! Each Friday, we will highlight a local business that we think is pretty stellar and could be of use to those of you out there in the Boston area. We have asked a member of each business to fill out a quick interview about themselves and their company as well as tell us where we can find them!

First up is Amanda Ciolino, Boston Office Manager of SENSIBLE SITTERS.

Sensible Sitters does all the hard ground work of finding a babysitter for you. Each sitter is thoroughly vetted and comes highly recommended. They can be found in New York, Boston, Nantucket, Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Palm Beach. If you're traveling with kids, this is the perfect tool to have in your arsenal. Companies can also hire Sensible Sitters to use as child care if they need parents to be there sans kids! The idea is genius and seems to be a no- brainer! Read on for more info on Amanda.

My name is...  Amanda Ciolino

My business is... Sensible Sitters (www.sensiblesitters.com)

My clients hire me because... we take the homework out of finding a great, qualified babysitter! Each Sensible Sitter is extensively vetted before being accepted to our network.

We require sitters to undergo an in-person interview, be college educated, have at least two years childcare experience, provide three relevant references, CPR certified and undergo a background check - much more involved than simply signing up on a website!

In my free time, I... am running after my three kids! Or taking a workout class, because three kids isn't enough apparently.

One fun fact about me is... I've lived in Boston for 18 years now and love this city!

For me, a perfect day would be... hanging on the beach with my kids.

You can find me at...
